The possibilities are infinite with a hook and a ball of yarn but since I was I need of belt anyway I decided to make one. I went with something simple for my first try and this project came together quickly.
The pattern is simple crochet chain 6 around the buckle ch 1 turn the work and simple crochet each stitch till end of row ch 1 turn repeat until desired length and fasten off.
I’m thinking the next one I would like to make larger and possibly with eyelets a fringe at the end and a bigger buckle.
