The definition of success is so simple:

1. the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.

2. the good or bad outcome of an undertaking.

But how do you quantify success?

Is it when you’re rich and famous and see yourself on billboards? If so, does that mean the pro-athletes, music icons, actors walking down the red carpet or runway models are they the ones we need to modulate to find success?

Perhaps success is the old man sitting in his rocking chair holding his second times great grandchild in his arms with his family gathered around him. Is he the model for success?

In reality isn’t success whatever we decide it is. Be it crossing the finish line at a marathon, binding off yarn on a completed project, sealing the last jar of jam, writing the end on a manuscript. I think we sometimes forget to cherish the small victories. I say, let’s take a moment and celebrate them.
