Benefits of Embracing Lazy Days

Daily writing prompt
Do lazy days make you feel rested or unproductive?

Lazy days are wonderful days for replenishing my energy. Sometimes, curling up with a book or huddling under blankets watching a movie is just what the body needs.

Today is one of those days for me. Maybe it’s the cold I’m fighting talking, but I have zero energy to do housework, and so I’m rolled up in blankets in bed with my laptop and Kindle and watching Hocus Pocus for the umpteenth time.

Yes, I do love lazy days. It’s precious time to rest and heal. These days are not meant to feel guilty about all the chores being undone. That’s what tomorrow is for.

Tomorrow, I’ll tackle the dishes, floors, and bathrooms that need cleaning

To be honest I thought I was the only one. I need more lazy days but I would prefer to have the next one when my toddler is of age.
