It’s no secret that I’ve been working on a no-sex story since the beginning of the month, ever since my friend challenged me to write out of my comfort zone.

The challenge is to write a short story of a minimum 4000 words without any hint of erotic romance, boy, I find this hard. Most of the time my fingers are itching to write all the naughty thoughts roaming in my head.

Somehow, I managed to get to the required word count and more sans-sex, yet I can’t seem to wrap up the story, it just feels odd without the spiciness so now I’m trying to keep the rift between the main characters wide open so they don’t fall into each other, still I want there to be a possibility for them to repair this rip later on. In a second story perhaps, one with lots of naughty and spicy scenes.

I know, I know! Spicy lust scenes later, for now I need to finish the beginning of the story without sex.
