What are you most proud of in your life?
My daughters.
I’m proud of each of them for the struggles they surmounted, their individual achievements thus far, and all of their hopes and dreams yet to come to fruition.
Most of all, I’m proud of their capacity to love and accept people from all walks of life, their open-mindedness, and their kind hearts.
Yes, I’m that cheerleader mom. The one with the bright pom-poms and loud voice cheering my kids on. I will always be in their corners, pom-poms ready.

I may sometimes forget myself in a book.
