This box set collection includes three Fated Mates romances. The second book in the set is Her Three Alpha Dragon, and this paranormal reverse harem story includes triggers warnings such as domestic violence, taunts, and emotional abuse.

Terrified of the things he can do, she still plans her escape, but he follows and runs her car off the mountain road. Ryker is out on patrol that night, pulls Cherie out of the wreck, and brings her to the cabin he shares with his spirit brothers Zeke and Ethan. They vow to keep Cherie safe from Jeremy, a clan member they exiled over a decade ago because of his dangerous behavior and the risk of exposure he posed to their kind.

Cullen doesn’t sugarcoat the domestic violence, taunts, or emotional abuse Cherie suffered at the hands of her husband; however, she showcases how Cherie retains her inner strength through it all and doesn’t let Jeremy’s violent acts paint all the men as evil. Cherie can acknowledge that not every man’s touch is brutal or painful. Under these men’s tender loving care, her inner strength shines even brighter, and the connection forged is so profound she starts healing.

The downside is the writing with missing or misspelled words, which interrupts the flow of the story, and the erotic scenes that are almost laughable at times with Cullen’s use of unnecessary embellished names like globes. Can’t we just say tits?  Massive knob really? What’s wrong with clit? His rod, honestly, dick or cock works perfectly fine. The rounded bulb and apple were jarring, but the tennis ball tip took the cake in the imaginative wording of sex organs for the cockhead.

The strong female lead, amazing alpha male support, and Cullen’s showcase of survival and healing after trauma make this a 2.5-star read.
