What’s your favorite month of the year? Why?
Oh dear, here’s another question I can’t answer because I like all the months of the year.
January offers a chance at new beginnings with good intentions and resolutions.
February still has a shiny new glint, and romance stirs in the air.
March can be a slump, but the snow melts, and animals come out of hibernation.
April is a time of spring showers washing the last of winter away and the budding trees announcing summer.
May means tulips, primroses, geraniums, pansies, lilacs, and many more beautiful blooms for all to see.
June is when the festival season officially kicked off, and the cottage one, too, gives us time to unwind.
July heat waves bring us to the beach in droves to swim or take out that paddle board on the water.
August, festivals are winding down, and the laid-back feeling of summer dissipates little by little.
September is still warm enough to go out to the beach and enjoy a nice swim or a paddle; still, there’s a routine to follow now.
October brings a chill to the air, fall festivals, and all the autumn colors, with the changing leaves from green to yellow, orange, red, and brown, are magnificent.
November is the time to bring out your knits, fight off the growing chill, and stop in your favorite coffee shop for a pumpkin spice latte.
December sparkles with the magic and music of the Holidays, bringing families together. What a total joy.
