Considering my day started at 3am when my beagle asked for the door, I would say, no, not so much.

The typical part was when he promptly fell back asleep. I tossed and turned, and watched the needle of the clock go by until finally I fell back asleep, only to be woken up again by my devil of a beagle, this time he wanted to go see my daughter for his morning pets before she left for work. And I couldn’t be upset because they were so adorably cute.

I made coffee, had time to write a book review and browse my favorite corners of the internet, and now I’m enjoying a second cup of coffee with fluffy pancakes and bacon. All in all, not a bad start to the day.
