Grandma’s Recipe Gone Horribly Wrong

Okay, well, this is embarrassing.

When I tried to bake my grandma’s homemade bread this winter, I didn’t consider the fact that switching to almond milk from cow’s milk would have a significant impact on the recipe. Boy, how wrong was I. The bread dough didn’t rise properly, nor did it bake correctly, so I ended up with, well, the only way to describe it is a hot mess of uneatable hard lumps resembling bread rolls.

Talk about a colossal fail.
