ROXANNA CROSS

Erotic romance you can really bite into!

Book Review: Rock Hard Beautiful #2 Roadie

Rating: 4 out of 5.

C.M. Stunich captured Lilith’s grief and the boys’ pain with raw, genuine emotion. These excerpts resonate beautifully.

Bad things happen, people die, hearts are broken, but it’s how we walk in the rain of grief that defines us.

My soul feels like a butterfly trapped in a gilded cage of grief. I just want to open the door and set it free. I want to do the same for all these boys, release them from their own agony.

If you understand this last excerpt, then you totally get Lilith and her five rock stars.

A happy person, a whole person, keeps all their pieces, holds the complete puzzle of their life in their hands. A broken person tries to give away those pieces because they don’t like what they see in themselves. They fill all the missing spots on the broken people around them, and in turn, they make some of those people’s pieces.

Lilith, Paxton, Ransom, Copeland, Derek (aka Muse), and Michael are broken people, interchanging puzzle pieces until they become less broken. Sex is their stepping stone to healing, and if Pax and Ran want to kiss and make up their differences, all the power to them. The sex between the six of them is as hot as always, but the connections they build are even better.
