Specialist Day or as like to call it pin cushion day

Every three months I have to see the neurologist for my chronic migraines and every time it’s always the same song and dance of let’s try something new:

New meds, new glasses with special lenses, new holistic therapies

It feels like no one has a damn clue and just pulling remedies out of magician’s hat hoping it’s going to be the cure all elixir.

What kind of new treatment is in store for me today, guess I’ll find out at my appointment. Already dreading it.

I call my botox day “pin cushion day” – 32 needles into my head neck and shoulders – sigh – hope you find something that helps, Linda xx

Gosh I dreaded Botox days! Now I get infusion therapy, being plugged to an IV isn’t much better

Ah…. I might have to look into that – it’s never been offered to me as an alternative… one needle versus 3 dozen. Curious – how long are you on the IV – minutes or hours?

This is a new treatment plan for me I got my first IV infusion last month and I was hooked up to it for about an hour or so, but yes I agree that the one needle jabbed in my arm is quite the change from the 3 dozen in my head
