Welcome to where the ideas are let loose.

Here you will find the latest updates of my ongoing projects be it writing, knitting, crocheting, canning, or whatever else I have going on and a recipe or two.

  • Book Review: Murder Any Witch Way Brimstone Bay #1 by N.M. Howell

This cozy murder mystery, written in the first person, introduces River Halloway as the main character. River is a young witch hiding her powers from the small town of Brimstone Bay, where she moved for her first journalist job.

  • Book Review: Bewitching The Vampire by Carrie Pulkinen

The 71-page short story is a fast read. Cassie McClain, a witch who is tired of hiding her powers even though exposing her magic could put her life in peril, and Branan Sinclair, a vampire who despises witches, are introduced as the main characters.

  • Expanding TBR

My youngest daughter wanted to stop at the bookstore real quick before going to my sister’s house for our Thanksgiving family gathering.

  • A Little Taste of Home Cooking for our Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend

This being the Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend, I first want to give a shout out to all my fellow Canadians on here and wish them a Happy long weekend with their families and friends.
